All are sinners.
“As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:” (Rom 3:10). “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” (Rom 3:23). “For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.” (Eccl 7:20).
How does God see the reality of sin.
“Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret sins in the light of thy countenance. (Ps 90:8). “My transgression is sealed up in a bag, and thou sewest up mine iniquity.” (Job 14:17). “If I sin, then thou markest me, and thou wilt not acquit me from mine iniquity.” (Job 10:14). “I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.” ( Jer 17:10).
How does God deal with sinners?
“Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment.” ( Eccl 11:9). “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:”( Heb 9:27). “For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.”( Eccl 12:14)
How did God express His love?
“All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.” (Isa 53:6). “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16). “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Rom 5:8). “For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:” (1 Cor 15:3-4).
What must a sinner do to be saved from judgment?
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (I Jn 1:9). “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” (Rom 10:9). “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” (John 5:24). “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:” (John 1:12). “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” (John 3:36). “And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” (Acts 16:31).
What happens in a sinner when he accepts Christ as his Saviour?
“Behold, for peace I had great bitterness: but thou hast in love to my soul delivered it from the pit of corruption: for thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back.” (Isa 38:17). “Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin.” (Ps 85:2). “He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.”(Micah 7:19). “I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.” (Isa 43:25). “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”( Isa 1:18). “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” (I Jn 1:7). “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” (Rom 8:1).
Salvation can be obtained only through Christ.
“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12). “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6). “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” (1 Thes 4:16-17). Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. Death is certain but the time of death is uncertain! Hence before you fall into the hands of death prepare to meet thy God.
If you sincerely desire to be redeemed from your sins and to be with the saints as they will be taken up to the mid-air to meet Lord our Saviour, please pray : “Lord Jesus, Have compassion upon this wretched sinner, forgive me and cleanse my sins away, make me as your son. I believe that the Lord Jesus, who knew no sin, died on the cross for me. I accept you today as my Lord and Saviour. “
